well chiselled muzzle, good flat backskull, typical eye, well laid back shoulders
flowing into a strong topline, good slope of pasterns into typical saluki feet.
Tailset low on croup. Movement is difficult to assess as he is trying to

Manchester Champ. 2010:                                 1st Junior Dog                                 Mark Cocozza
critique: 14 month bl/cr, so full of life and energy, good balance and type,

Matlock DCS Open 2010:                                 1st Junior Dog                                Patricia M Wells
critique: Really loved this boy and once he gets his act together and allows himself to be properly examined, and show himself off, he will go far. A little over reserved but definitely not nervous. Of very nice type indeed, very balanced overall and very sound appearance. Good length of neck and pleasing head carriage. Well arched feet and very pleasing pasterns. Quite frisky during movement but did exhibit some reach and drive in between.

North Lincs Dog Club Open 2010:                    2nd Junior                                   Mrs L Ward

Folkestone, Hythe DCS Open 2010:                    2nd Junior                Mr Hector Heathcote

                                                           3rd Special Yearling Dog

                                                         1st Good Citizens

critique: black and silver, superb quality youngster. Typical head and expression. Excellent shining coat and presented to perfection. Good slope to croup. Long neck, flowing into well placed shoulders. Long tail. Sweeping quarters with moderate second thigh. Good pigmentation. Fair topline. Free mover.

Re Good Citizens: These are really good classes to classify, proving that not only is the saluki the fastest hunting pedigree dog on the planet, but can also adapt to our way of life with a bit of TLC. Well done to all who have entered today.

SGHC Limited 2010:                       3rd Junior Dog                                       Barbara W. Henry

                                                             3rd Special Yearling Dog

critique:Blk/cream in wonderful gleaming condition. Very good forehand, flat bone and good feet, good length of rib, strong quarters, low hocks. Attractive head and expression, he loves looking around at everything and everyone. This really played havoc with his movement, very erratic!

Birmingham National Champ 2010:            1st Junior Dog                           Roy Goodby

critique: b/t youngster, needs time to settle and very unsteady and difficult to handle. Balanced shape of correct size, good bone. Slightly overangulated at rear.

SGHC Open 2010:                                3rd Special Beginners Dog                   Martin J Green

1st Jonathan Langley Horswell Rescue Stakes

critique: good head, neck and depth of chest, balanced angulation. Needs to settle into frame but as a youngster still has time. Moved well.

critique: 2 year old dog of quality, slightly apprehensive, very nice outline, head long and lean, ears well set, excellent neck and shoulders, correct topline, good turn of stifle and short rear pasterns, true front with good bone and strong feet, deep chest and nicely bodied up, good tuck up, shown in well presented coat and excellent condition, moved on a very good stride.
